Student Health
The health program provides an array of services to all students at the Ntoma, Byeya and Nyakatarre Primary Schools. All of services are provided by local physicians from a nearby hospital and all expenses are covered by Pocketful of Joy.
Services include:
- annual dental examinations, dental treatment, and education about oral hygiene
- annual eye examinations and glasses or any students who need them
- antibacterial soap to treat ringworm and other topical infections
- deworming treatment
- additional emergency care as needed
